New Rule – Update on a weekend every once in a while
Come on guys, come oooooooonnnnnnnnn. My feed reader gets so empty so fast on weekends. I know the weekend generates very little traffic compared to regular weekdays but I still find myself checking my reader constantly on Saturday and Sunday. Being stuck inside sick on the weekend with nothing to read is just entirely unacceptable.

The whole frost wing of Icecrown can just die forever as far as I’m concerned. It is aaaaaaawful. From the maddeningly boring/frustrating/impossible to troubleshoot Valithria encounter to the WHY THE HELL ARE THERE THREE FROST TOMBS UP AT ONCE OMG I CANT EVEN BELIEVE bitchslappery of Sindragosa, and the longest-most-boring-but-omg-seriously-how-many-adds-could-there-still-be trash in between the two, the entire wing was one nightmare-inducing prison rape scene.
NEVER AGAIN.
New Rule – This still doesn’t let you off the hook
This is me dueling with Arthas on the edge of the top of Icecrown’s spire. A waterfall of ice and frost cascades down to the frozen pit of Northrend below and only the tumult of thunder and lightning hangs over our heads. Truly, an awesome place for a final showdown.
Regardless, we’re still waiting for an apology for the Trial of the Crusader.
I know I am in the minority, but I thought Trial was excellent.
I mean, it’s not like they took a raid from pre-expansion Warcraft and reused everything down to the models of each item, letting it replace the possibility for a new end game raid at release. Instead of, you know, just tagging it with the Heroic title if they wanted the playerbase to see old content so bad.
That, friend, would be hilarious.

Hah, I hear you about the lack of weekend blogging. I have to admit that I’m out all day myself on most Saturdays these days, but even so it’s weird to log on on Sunday afternoon and only find maybe one new update on my blogroll since Friday evening.
I don’t like the Frostwing Halls much myself, especially Sindragosa… having a fight that requires raid members to line of sight each other is a total healer nightmare. I’m curious though what you mean by Valithria being impossible to troubleshoot.

What he means (having shared this sentiment for months now) is that if you aren’t a healer, there’s really nothing you can do about your wipes other than grin and bear them. You can’t help the healers or even identify the problems they’re having because they’re off in some imaginary realm, and when we ask what the issue is, they just say “gubbadawuh?”

Hm, well, being a healer myself… that’s how I feel on most non-healing-intensive fights. I consider it a normal part of raiding really.
