New Rule – Flame Leviathan has to be the raid weekly every week from now on

I have a level 80 character of every class. That’s a lot of toons with which to try and get weeklies done. How awesome is Flame Leviathan that you don’t need to worry about finding people for specific roles and just want to get things done in a hurry? Pretty darn awesome!

New Rule – Stop saying how x will be dead in Cataclysm

Here’s the long and short of it: you don’t know. We have very limited information on how things are going to be in the next expansion. Its still months and months away, hell even the beta testing has yet to open. Any assumptions you have about how x part of the game will be dead and gone forever should be assumed to be wrong until proven otherwise, not the other way around.

I know, there’s lots of stuff to talk about and debate and discuss but there’s piles and piles and piles upon piles more information that we simply do not have at all at this point. Think 25man raiding will be dead with the new changes? Does your opinion take into account the guild leveling system at all or any of a host of other variables? No? Then you’re probably wrong. At the very least, you look a tiny bit like the homeless prophet dude out on the street corner I used to see in the city at times.

Save your rage and your doomsday predictions for when the beta is done because we all know that the game never changes after beta testing in any way right?

New Rule – Arthas has to die in one month

Nocturne is coming off of a month-long hiatus tonight and we’ll be resuming the push towards the Lich King in Icecrown Citadel. On the horizon, a number of people in the guild are going to either find their playing time severely limited or gone altogether very shortly. I happen to be one of those people unfortunately.

My subscription expires at the end of May and I’m not entirely certain I’ll be able to renew it immediately due to a number of reasons. Related to this, my subscription with my host provider for 2fps expires the first week of June and I’m almost certain I won’t be able to renew that.

All manner of things are coming to a close. The expansion is winding down, players are realizing the sun is shining once again and are getting out of the house, etc.

The goal then for our scrappy guild is to see the Lich King fall while we’re all still together and dang it all, we have to do it now. Its a rule after all!
